Meet the team…
We are Rebecca and Melissa the co-directors of Cosy Pup Ltd, dog walkers and sitters in Edinburgh. We have always held a love for animals and the outdoors, stemming from numerous trips to the countryside during our childhood.
After gaining extensive experience working at an established dog daycare, we decided the time was right to move on and create our own dog care business.
Cosy Pup is fully insured and registered with Edinburgh Council. We are also fully trained in dog first aid just incase an accident occurs.
What do we offer?
Dog walking, pet sitting and much more! Cosy Pup is a local dog care business, specialising in exercising dogs in a small group, off lead and secure environment. Our main aim is to allow dogs to play together, exercise and socialise. We collect dogs from their home across the East of Edinburgh and take them in small groups to a secure field to play.

Why choose off-lead?
Play and off-lead freedom allows extra stimulation above that which they would receive on a regular walk. Because of this when dogs are returned home they will be satisfied mentally and physically, ready for a good nap or calm family time.
Play and off-lead freedom also allows dogs to exhibit vital natural behaviours. The social interaction that happens through play is a vital component to developing well rounded socially confident dogs. Dogs, when allowed to play and mix off lead in a safe environment will learn to engage and interpret each others body language in a positive way, therefore reducing reactivity and fear based aggression when encountering other dogs when out on walks.
How do we transport your dogs?
The Cosy Pup van has a custom built interior, designed with your dogs comfort and safety in mind. This consists of a secure framework to hold a variety of crates each furnished with a soft and snuggly padded bed so that every pup has a relaxing ride. We also fit a ventilation and fan cooling system for those hot summer days.
Both Melissa and Rebecca have held a full clean UK driving licence for over 5 years.

You have been really professional which has made me feel confident in leaving Cloudy in your care.
I think the dog socials are a great idea and great value for money so would definitely recommend it. I am happy cloudy is getting some socialisation and becoming more comfortable around other dogs which is an added bonus.
